POSITION REQUIREMENTS

With at least three years of relevant experience and a NQF Level 06 undergraduate degree in the built environment, as recognised by SAQA. Registration with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager is required. except for those who have a valid driver’s licence and a disability. Capabilities, guiding principles, and project management processes are all part of the skill set required to manage projects and programmes. a project and professional opinion.

DUTIES:

Effectiveness of the project design and analysis: Carry out the final approvals or audits on the project design efforts and integration across disciplines to ensure seamless integration with the most recent technology. Keep the project’s operations effective: Manage the application of the project management strategy by making the necessary structures, systems, and resources available. To ensure maximum operational availability, establish project standards, specifications, and service levels in accordance with organisational goals.

To guide or divert project services for the achievement of organisational goals, and monitor project management efficiencies in accordance with organisational goals. Financial Management: Ensure that there are sufficient resources and that they are managed effectively to achieve the MTEF goals in the project environment and services. Manage the operation’s operational capital project portfolio to guarantee efficient resource allocation in accordance with organisational demands and goals.

Manage the programmes and projects relating to your discipline’s commercial-added value. To verify validity and conformity to organisational values, and facilitate the collection of innovation proposals. Spending should be allocated, tracked, and controlled in accordance with the budget to guarantee effective cash flow management. Manage, oversee, and distribute resources. Create risk logs (databases) and manage important risks in accordance with recommended risk management procedures and organisational standards.

To reduce potential project risks, offer technical consulting services for project-related operations. In order to support personal development ambitions, operational needs, and return on investment, manage and implement knowledge-sharing activities, such as short-term assignments and secondments inside and across operations. Maintain constant surveillance over the sharing and security of data between operations and people to guarantee efficient knowledge management in line with departmental goals.

People Management: Lead the disciplined development, motivation, and use of people resources in accordance with organisational goals and requirements to establish a competent knowledge base for ongoing project success. Establishing and monitoring performance standards, as well as taking corrective action when necessary, will help you manage your subordinates’ key performance areas and achieve departmental goals.
