REQUIREMENTS:
a relevant bachelor’s degree, advanced diploma, or comparable certification in education, public administration, business administration, or a related field. An extra advantage would be a relevant postgraduate degree and/or prior experience in the field of postsecondary education and training. a minimum of eight (8) years of experience, at least five (5) of which must have been at the middle management level and be related to TVET or education.
extensive knowledge in the general management fields of strategy, education, human resources, and development, as well as those related to colleges and educational institutions. a track record of success in the creation, execution, and administration of plans and projects for strategic, operational, and financial management.
Must have prior experience working in a position connected to training and development or a comparable field. the capacity to create internal processes and checks to guarantee good organisational governance, financial management, and control. shown computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. abilities in report writing and presentation. solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment that governs public TVET colleges.
knowledge of educational management ideas practises, and approaches. understanding of reporting standards for public sector management. Strategic leadership and capability, customer orientation and focus, financial management, people management and empowerment, stakeholder management, and communication. Experience in or knowledge of the private sector will also be considered advantageous. a readiness to put in long hours and frequent travel. and a driving permit that is current.
DUTIES:
To drive the efficient and effective implementation of college governance
frameworks and systems; and the functioning of governance structures,
including the college council and the academic board. To build and foster an

to provide a platform for precise and easily available information management decision-making in order to support effective management decision-making. to oversee the creation and execution of appropriate vocational and occupational curricula and programmes, and to keep an eye on the quality assurance programme it is connected with and its effects on the placement and performance of students.
establishing commercial alliances and connections that result in student placements, work-based learning, and articulation. To create and maintain a structure and system for student management that facilitates student governance and support and offers all enrolled students comprehensive academic and social support.
To establish and oversee a college estate management and infrastructure system that ensures the purchase, upkeep, management, and disposal of physical resources that aid in the accomplishment of strategic and operational goals. promote upward advancement and programme articulation.
