REQUIREMENTS:

A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies are requirements for applicants.
Minimum of 2 years in the communication environment. Experience working with the media, producing written content, and publishing it with documentation in publications from businesses and in the media.

DUTIES:

Provide the Commission on the Restitution of Land Rights with media liaison and surveillance services. Create and keep a current, comprehensive media database. Support the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights in developing and carrying out a media strategy and implementation plan. Support the creation and distribution of media releases, opinion articles, and media invites in order to promote the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights.

Provide assistance in coordinating media attendance and involvement at the Commission on Land Rights’ events. Support the organisation of media briefings, media tours, and media interviews to generate favourable exposure for the actions of the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights. Observe how the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights is discussed in the news each day and assist with the necessary intervention.

assist in facilitating responses to media inquiries after consulting with the appropriate managers at the Commission. By publishing articles on the Restitution scheme and its activities in business publications and the media. To promote the Restitution programme and activities through internal and external departmental publications as well as the media, conduct research and produce articles and opinion pieces. Create your own story ideas and conduct interviews with important players to create high-quality articles that profile the Restitution project.

Provide assistance with content creation, information generation, and marketing for the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights. Determine the Commission’s needs for informational materials linked to marketing and communications and make it easier for the material to be produced, after consulting with the appropriate parties. Draught text for the commission’s marketing and communication materials, for design and approval by the responsible manager.

Develop fact sheets and a list of frequently asked questions and their respective answers for the Restitution scheme and activities. Coordinate the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights’ online and social media efforts. Ensure that relevant content is uploaded to the Commission’s website. Provide assistance in creating content for social media sites.

Keep social media channels active by posting or tweeting every day. The activity of the client is daily monitored, and relevant intervention and feedback are facilitated. For the benefit of the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights, establish and sustain client relationships. Assist in the creation and execution of the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights stakeholder engagement strategy and implementation plan.

Support the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights’ information-sharing sessions with district-based stakeholder engagement sessions, information sessions, and the creation and distribution of stakeholder invites. Support the Commission’s information sessions and walk-in clients. Attend national and provincial intergovernmental plenary meetings. maintain the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights’ client database. Create and keep an accurate, thorough stakeholder database. On a regular basis, update the customer database for the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights concerns.

Manage communication for Office of the Chef Land Claims Commissioner stakeholders both within and outside. For updates, send information to staff members via email and notice boards. Support the dissemination of letters and SMSs to beneficiaries informing them of new developments regarding their land claims. oversee the observance of important national holidays and staff office-wide gatherings for the Chief Land Claims Commissioner. Plan heinous activities to coincide with important national holidays.

Offer assistance in support of internal festivities among the staff.
Offer assistance in managing the handover of restitution land and financial compensation events. Support the coordination of land handover celebrations and events (such as presidential, ministerial, and provincial handover events) to commemorate justice and the return of ancestral land to its rightful owners. Assist with the logistical planning of the Restitution events to ensure their success.

Support the project plan and communication plans by identifying important stakeholders. The Commission on Restitution of Land Rights’ communication information is coordinated by a provincial liaison. coordination of the Restitution project and information with province Regional Land Claims Commissioners, communicators, and project managers.

To be utilised in communication reports and commission publications, coordinate the content and project information. Provide assistance with business brand communication services. Support the acquisition of branding materials for the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights to increase the organization’s visibility.
Make sure that advertising materials and papers adhere to the corporate identity guidelines of the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights.

Avoid misusing the corporate colours and emblem of the commission. Organise the coordination of product manufacturing, approvals, and delivery of the finished product. Support the Commission’s marketing efforts.
