REQUIREMENTS:
Registration as a physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is the minimum educational requirement. a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor in Physiotherapy degree or above and grade 12 combined. Experience: After completing community service and registering with the HPCSA, a physiotherapist must have a minimum of 4 years of experience, of which 2 years must be at the supervisory level.

DUTIES:
to oversee the institution’s physical therapy services. Planning, coordinating, and carrying out service promotion for physiotherapy. Plan and organise physiotherapy forums, as well as the creation and presentation of quarterly reports. creation of the section’s demand plan. Ensure that all MHCUs who have been referred receive physiotherapy services.
evaluations and reviews of subordinates’ performance OHS, infection control, and the framework for realising the ideal hospital ensuring the purchase of the section’s necessary modernised equipment, supplies, and assistance gadgets. efficiently manage the allocated human resources. ensuring efficient management of the section’s financial, informational, and material resources.
Join a variety of institutional committees. Patients are evaluated and referred for the proper assistive devices. Keep track of patient statistics and gather pertinent information. the capacity to collaborate across disciplines. Make that the section is adhering to continual professional growth. Execute supervision as necessary. Participate in programmes for professional development in physiotherapy on a provincial level. Offer your clinical knowledge to physiotherapy patients.
