REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12. Any qualification that enables registration with HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer, such as a national diploma, B-tech degree, or degree in diagnostic radiography. A diagnostic radiographer must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience (excluding community service). Expert knowledge of specific equipment and radiographic practise and prescription are among the knowledge, skills, traits, and abilities.
understanding of the PFMA, HRM policies, and other laws, statutes, and regulations pertaining to the public service. understanding of radiation control and safety laws as they relate to radiography. understanding of infection control principles, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance techniques.
good knowledge of the operating systems in the public sector. knowledge of digital
Radiography. knowledge of pertinent laws, rules, policies, and practises relating to the public service. computer literate with strong communication abilities (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint). Radiographic Quality Assurance Compliance. concepts of infection control and health and safety. The capacity to function as a multidisciplinary team member. Demonstrates. Strategic planning, organisational, and effective interpersonal skills.
DUTIES:
Through sufficient supervision, guarantee the delivery of effective and efficient 24-hour radiology services. Deliver top-notch radiology services while adhering to safe radiation safety guidelines. administration and staff supervision of PMDS. All workers should receive assistance, supervision, and training.
carry out the necessary administrative tasks. Participate in projects involving quality assurance and improvement, OHSC, and quality plans.
Participate in institutional radiography policy formulation, analysis, and planning to ensure that it complies with applicable radiation control laws. Maintain the equipment in accordance with Professional Radiographic guidelines while thinking about patient safety. Make ensuring that departmental and hospital policies, practises, and rules are followed.
Keep records and gather information. Follow the budget you’ve been given and handle your resources wisely. Contribute to and take part in your own and the other team members’ ongoing professional growth. Observe the Performance Management and Development System. abide by and guarantee adherence to HPCSA and Radiation Control Board laws. Give the PFMA’s adoption of cost-saving initiatives a top priority.
