REQUIREMENTS:

A Grade 12 diploma as well as a National Certificate in Geomatics or Survey Officer Certificate are requirements for applicants. 3 years minimum of post-qualification geomatics experience in a setting including cadastral surveys and geomatics.

DUTIES:

capture, preserve, and update the alphanumeric information on both straightforward and complex cadastral records. Obtain alpha- and numeric data from recently submitted cadastral papers (both simple and complex), perform checks for mathematical consistency, and verify data for proposed new land parcels. Maintain an electronic alpha-numeric repository by adding or changing every approved document (simple and complex) in the cadastral survey database. capture and confirm old cadastral papers, whether basic or complex.

Attend to the intricate upkeep of cadastral records in compliance with legal procedures. Upon receiving valid instructions, carry out cadastral document withdrawals or cancellations. Add registered land parcels, leases, or servitudes to cadastral papers to subtract, cancel, or endorse them. Attend to intricate cadastral document adjustments that have been accepted and registered. Add to the archive all recently authorised cadastral documents.

Get cadastral records and distribute them. Resubmit returned cadastral documents. Cadastral records should be maintained and kept in good working order. Perform technical analysis on both straightforward and difficult cadastral papers. Verify a lodgement’s designation if it has just been submitted. Examine broad plans and simple and complex schematics technically. Perform a technical analysis of the survey data. Examine sectional title plans technically, both for basic and complex ones.

Each authorised cadastral land parcel should be added to the noting sheets to update them. For both internal and external clients, do research and provide cadastral information. Obtain cadastral data and give it to customers. According to agreed-upon service level agreements, National Geospatial Information (NGI) must provide aerial photos, corrected imagery, and maps. Perform cadastral survey information related to land parcel boundaries basic research for customers and land reform. Use both straightforward and sophisticated cadastral documents to collect, preserve, and update spatial data.

Prior to approval, capture recently submitted documents to check for any spatial overlaps. Include historical data while adding to, updating, or maintaining an accurate dataset of cadastral spatial information. If overlaps are found, look into potential causes of error and deal with errors properly. To enhance the accuracy of land parcel boundary data, use cadastral survey calculation principles and other reliable sources of information.

Scan every cadastral document for approval, modification, endorsement, or withdrawal, then carry out quality control. Analyse recently authorised cadastral documents. Re-scan all cadastral papers that have been modified (Amended, endorsed, or withdrawn). Connect the alphanumeric data to the scanned photos that were deposited. Conduct operations and quality inspections to make sure the scanned image databases are accurate and clean.
