Available Positions

1. General Workers

General Workers play an important role in ensuring that production and warehouse operations run efficiently. Successful candidates will assist with manual labour, housekeeping, product handling, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving loads of up to 25kg.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
  • Stack and palletize finished products.
  • Inspect products and packaging for defects.
  • Complete quality inspection documentation where required.
  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Wear and maintain the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and report safety risks and hazards.
  • Support corrective actions to improve workplace safety.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate/Matric).
  • Must be medically and physically fit.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

2. Reliever – Beverages Packaging

The Reliever provides temporary support within the beverages packaging department by filling in for employees who are absent or unavailable. This position helps maintain continuous production while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor beverage packaging equipment.
  • Assist with bottling, labeling, sealing, and palletizing processes.
  • Ensure packaging materials are available and correctly loaded.
  • Maintain cleanliness of packaging areas.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections.
  • Report equipment faults and safety concerns.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control of packaging materials.
  • Support multiple production lines as operational requirements change.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to operate basic production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and willing to work different shifts.
  • Physically fit for repetitive work and moderate lifting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas.
  • Move pallets, cartons, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Stack products in designated storage locations.
  • Transport materials between departments.
  • Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures.
  • Report mechanical faults and equipment issues.
  • Assist with warehouse housekeeping.
  • Support production and logistics teams as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Valid Forklift Licence/Certification (required).
  • Previous forklift operating experience is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
  • Physically fit and safety conscious.
