SETTINGS NEEDED:
Senior Certificate/Grade 12, Social Work Bachelor’s degree, Currently registered with the Council for Social Services Professions in South Africa, driver’s certificate, a minimum of ten years of experience as a social worker after registering with SACSSP, three of those years need to be spent in a supervisory role.

Tasks:
Make sure mental health care users receive social work programmes that align with psychosocial rehabilitation; make sure home visits are carried out to evaluate the conditions and support network of the mental health care users; to gather data on family members and individuals receiving mental health care in order to evaluate their domestic and personal situations.
Identifying and recommending the appropriate treatments required to provide family therapy, community integration, and psychological rehabilitation in accordance with the Mental Health Law No. 17 of 2023; Individual counselling, group therapy, and community gatherings are provided to state presidents, their families, and the community to ensure a successful reintegration.
