R1 653 234 is the annual salary, which includes everything. 70% of the all-inclusive package is made up of the fundamentals, while 30% is flexible and can be organised according to the rules that apply. Other advantages: 18% Inhospitable Allowance, plus commuted overtime as needed by the institution for service delivery.

CONDITIONS FOR POSITION:
Master’s degree in CBCH Additional requirements include current HPCSA registration as a medical practitioner, a minimum of ten (10) years of medical management experience following HPCSA registration, and a valid, unendorsed code B driver’s licence (number 8). It is advised that candidates have a post-graduate diploma or degree in management.
Competencies:
be well-versed in the applicable Acts, Policies, and Regulations that the KZN Department of Health administers. a thorough understanding of the laws governing the practice of medicine in South Africa. Possess strong motivational, team-building, leadership, and communication abilities. possess computer literacy and expertise with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
DUTIES:
Ensure that the Medical and Allied Health Professions Team is provided with protocols and recommendations. Create policies and procedures for clinical services and make sure they adhere to the most recent legal requirements and recommendations. Give all Cluster Managers, Clinical Heads, Clinical Managers, Pharmacy, Allied Health Professionals, and all staff that they are responsible for managing leadership, management, and support.
Promote safe, high-quality clinical treatment and guide the hospital towards Office of Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) accreditation. In order to discuss medical and management issues, coordinate with other stakeholders both inside and outside the Department of Health, such as chief specialists, other hospital management teams, the Health District Office, and the Medical School. Ensure the best possible use of resources, both financial and human.
In accordance with the steps taken to prepare for the full implementation of universal health coverage (NHI), structures for sound corporate and clinical governance should be put in place. Continually evaluate the demands of the people and construct the necessary service package accordingly. Clinical audits will guarantee ongoing monitoring of morbidity and mortality.
As instructed by the mission, develop strategic plans that take into account the needs of the hospital and the department. Make sure the hospital continues to deliver services in a cost-effective manner. Uphold discipline and handle complaints and labour relations concerns in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
