REQUIREMENTS:
In accordance with Government Notice R425 (Degree or Diploma in Nursing), the fundamental qualification is accredited with SANC. Post-basic qualification in accordance with Government Notice R48 with a period of at least one year in Curative Skills in Primary Health Care (Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care) recognised with the SANC. It is necessary to be currently registered with the South African Nursing Council.
An advantage would be to have additional training in nursing administration or management. a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience after becoming a registered professional nurse in nursing. After receiving a one-year Post Basic Qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care, at least five years of the above-mentioned term must have passed. understanding of how the Public Service Act, Nursing Act, and Public Service Regulations are applied.
Public Finance Management Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, and Treasury Regulations. Recognising how to apply the quality assurance system, patients’ rights charter, and Batho Pele principles. a capacity for written and spoken communication. excellent communication and presenting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal, social mobilisation, networking, money management, and computer abilities.
