REQUIREMENTS:
Senior Certificate/Plus 12 is required. Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical. registered as a professional engineer with ECSA. Licence to drive that is valid. 3 years of experience after graduation. The human resources division has endorsed the service certificate. DUTIES:
Make sure that the IDMS is followed in the infrastructure programme and project planning.
Ensure programme and project implementation and monitoring for infrastructure.
Ensure the commissioning of infrastructure projects. Educate people on how to make the best use of the facilities. Evaluation of infrastructure projects and programmes. Implement quality control for the work that employees produce. Maintain your composure. Creating and overseeing the operating plan.
Plan your workload. Organise and take part in project commissioning activities, such as site visits. Upon project completion, review the budgets and maintenance plans. Upon project completion, gather and update system-related data for Technical Conditions Assessments, if required. Research and literature reviews to keep up with new technologies, the practicality and feasibility of the Department’s alternatives for managing geographical information, as well as communication with pertinent boards and councils for professional development.
