Job Purpose

As a Part-Time Retail Assistant at adidas, you will support store management in daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and help uphold store standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.

• Assist with standard sales transactions including cash, credit, and checks.

• Support with product ticketing and verifying stock received against paperwork.

• Help manage product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.

• Participate in merchandising and store displays based on management direction.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and according to policy.

• Apply effective selling techniques, including upselling and providing product knowledge.

• Greet and assist customers in finding suitable products.

• Occasionally perform front-door greeting duties during peak hours.

• Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

• Ensure the safekeeping of company property and stock.

Education & Experience

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

• 0 to 1 year of experience in a retail environment (preferred but not essential)
