Responsibilities:

• Join an Agile team of developers
• Develop multi-platform modular software components
• Build solutions for cloud-connected devices

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required. At least two years of relevant experience
group member
Self-driven and independent, capable of learning and working at a distance
Individual time allocation
English native willing to work in our Cape Town or Johannesburg office and occasionally travel abroad

Required skills:

• Programming (JavaScript/Node.js)
• Solid Understanding of Computer Networking
• SQL Experience
• Familiar with Linux
• Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Preferred skills:

• Programming in C, C++
• Angular frontend framework
• Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration
• Typescript
• Cloud & deployment technologies (AWS, Ansible, Docker)
• Knowledge of Industrial Protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus)
• Mobile development (Android, iOS)
