• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to showroom standards
• Vehicle quality control, identifying and reporting issues such as expired licenses or due services
• Refuelling vehicles, checking tyre pressure and monitoring oil, water, and other fluids
• Delivering vehicles to customers and other branches following standard procedures
• Handling document deliveries and pickups from banks, suppliers, and internal sources
• Maintaining cleanliness of the premises
• Upholding the company’s integrity through ethical behaviour and safeguarding assets and customer interests
• Undertaking additional duties as requested by the Branch Manager

Position Overview

This role is integral to providing an efficient transport service, aligning with standard operating procedures and legislative requirements. The Driver/Cleaner is responsible for the safe and proper delivery and collection of goods, documentation, vehicles, and customers at designated destinations.

Specific Role Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and Quality Control:
   • Ensure vehicles meet showroom standards through thorough cleaning.
   • Identify and report issues related to vehicle quality, including expired licenses and overdue services.
2. Vehicle Maintenance:
   • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including refuelling and checking tyre pressure and fluids.
3. Delivery and Collection:
   • Deliver vehicles to customers and internal branches, adhering to established procedures.
   • Handle document deliveries and pickups from various locations.
4. Premises Maintenance:
   • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.

Qualifications And Experience

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years or more of relevant experience

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)
• Basic computer literacy
• Fully bilingual with effective communication skills in English
• Ability to read a map
